Default Coop: How to ! Please

As Luthier stated in his last "Interview" Coop would work by default ways in CoD itself (means without the great script by Banks).

Maybe someone could point my nose to the way how to arrange it.
For myself, I am not able to create a Coop host with joining clients.
Each time the host himself can join but no client anymore, as his slots are declared "unavaliable".

Or is the coop mode meant as "dogfight" with AI?
Means creating a birthplace on which every client can chosse a plane and join like on DF server?

Personally I use the "birthplace" method with limited planeset as appropriate.

A fixed set of planes should also be doable, just check the "idle" checkbox on them so AI don't fly away.

In my opinion the new "coop approach" is to let the e-pilots join in cockpit and chit-chat during engine warm up and as such I tend to use a trigger just outside the airbase to "start the mission".

Alos possible is to use the ingame "Mission" menu (TAB 4) but that requires a good amount of scripting (is available in my "OdenCoop" shared over at simHQ if someone want to have a look at the code, feel free to copy-paste).

Here you go fruitbat:

As soon as a pilot heads south the Wellington bombers, to escort, will spawn up north. This way everyone can take all the time they need on the ground before getting airborne (unless you have a rambo-pilot in your session ) be it running full CEM or just new players needing extra time.
(more so drunk pilots laughing their arse off in TS not really concentrated on the mission at hand )

From this one may connect all other events as well - this is not the case for the shown mission though, but you get the picture.

In the mission builder section there's a How to I made for TPT.

http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=28487

Might also be helpful for other stuff.

I just hope they sort a proper CooP mode out for BoM with a comprehensive GUI.

Have fun
