I decided to try the above out of interest (and stupidity) even though I wasn't experiencing stutters or poor frame-rates.

The result:- Halved fps, stutters, slow loading of textures ie a completely borked game.

If you're already running ok my advice is to leave well alone!

What are your system specs though?

It is simple to add them to your sig, then a pattern may emerge for what works and what doesn't and why

Sorry I have a EVGA GTX 570, AMD Phenom II x6 1055t @ 3.8ghz, 8gb ram, 1 tb HDD
