star Wolves Civil War Can't complete quest

Ive just started, I have gotten to the Gredos system where i swap ships with Ray to drop some supplies off to a science station, at which point I'm ment to return & I assume get my own ship back.

But when I get back to the Station the Ray is in, The police order me to stop and be searched and at the same time pirates attack and destroy the station......
after the police kill the pirates they turn hostile on me & kill me


Exactly what am I ment to do?
Do I need to restart the game?
If I do restart how likely is a station (which is required for the campaign) will be destroyed effectively screwing the campaign up

Hello DanielDrache,

everything is ok, that's the way how the story goes. You got a new (better) mother ship.

Make sure to leave the station before everybody turns to be hostile and the story shall continue.
