I've noticed this... but I was under the impression that it was pieces flying off my aircraft, due to being under fire.... although it has happened once or twice when
I thought there was no-one else nearby... I'm not 100% sure it's a graphics glitch. I've never had ANY sound-fx indications that I was taking bullets though...
I've noticed that getting anywhere near that rather amazing HE-111 gunners on the ATAG server gives me these "artifacts"... I just assumed it was bullet-impacts.
