Default Diamond Jubilee Flypast as seen from the Spitfire .London GB

Footage taken from within a Spitfire taking part in The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The formation flew down the Mall, as the Royal Family watched from the balcony of Buckingham Palace, along with thousands gathered outside. The Flypast included the Dakota flanked by two King Air aircraft, a Lancaster, Spitfires and a Hurricane from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, ahead of the Red Arrows who made their entrance seconds later.

Very nice. It makes me wonder though what rules were bent/ignored or broken to allow the single engined Spits/Hurri over London? Normal CAA rules, IIRC, most definitely prohibit this. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad any such rules were ignored/bent or broken but I recall not so long ago a Harrier was supposed to take part in a London flypast and this was disallowed on safety grounds because it only has (sorry, had ) one engine.

Meh, it's clearly fake, the colors are all wrong and there's too much fog.
