Then you don't know how to use them.
If you worked in sales you'd know they are almost as cool as sliced bread.

My 50€ generic Chinese tablet is great for longer visits to yarn old toilet bowl, reading pdf files, surfing the web and watching youtube clips or playing a short round of angry birds space. These things is what makes a tablet pretty neat, for everything else it sucks and I would never spend more than 50-100€ on one of these, some people pay 699€ for an iPad, it boggles the mind it really does. IMO tablets sucks for productivity work, but for light entertainment purposes it's great.

S!

As addman said, tablets are great for some lighter tasks like internet and such if one does not want to buy a computer. Easy to carry and all that too. But for serious gaming they will not beat a desktop any time soon as we all know, especially FS^Phat, that a monster rig just takes too much power and room

Tablet technology sure is cool, especially multitouch.

But products like the ipad are doomed to be a fad and nothing more. Same thing as an iphone except without the phone, and doesn't fit in your pocket.

Hehe but tablets are not going to go away. They are here to stay because it fits many (if not most) of what consumers want. Tablets are just part of the natural evolution of things getting smaller and more mobile from laptops to tablets. It's not from iphone to bigger iphone as you have described.
