Are you watching videos made with this last two versions of the game?
Why I'm asking is because since the last patch most of the advanced graphics features of the game have been chopped off in the quest for performance. The water, like everything else, looked significantly better in the previous versions of the game. Here's few shots with the water in the older versions of the game:
