Thumbs down How to Vechicles Rearm/Refuel

Hello Folks,

I had a Calliope run out of ammo. I brought a Supply Truck up, but didn't know how to re-arm. For that matter, how do you refuel? I thought I could use the Examine button, and merely swap in what I needed, like you do with Infantry, but, it didn't seem to work.

Thanks for any help!

Regards,

Marc (aka JohnYoga)

With Vehicle ammo you do simply tell the Supply Truck to examine the tank, (DO NOT tell the TANK to examine the TRUCK, the tank often RAMS the truck on inspection and kills it. The Truck will, at most, get stuck for a few seconds). You would then have to find the proper ammo for the Calliope, im assuming your rockets ran out? YOu then would have to find the rockets in the supply truck and just move them over like you would with infantry.

Refueling however is a different story. You must get an infantry man to get a Fuel Barrel of a Fuel Can, Barrel holds 200 fuel, Can holds like 60 fuel. If it isnt filled up in MP by default you then would have to find a wrecked tank or something to fill it up. You do this by giving your soldier a barrel, have him carry it to the tank/vehicle and with your barrel selected your icon over the wrecked vehicle should turn into a ring with an oil droplet in the center, this is the "siphon" icon. You then click the vehicle and your dude will walk up and siphon the gas out. You then take that barrel back to your empty tank and the icon should now be a "funnel" icon, you then click your tank and the soldier should fill it up. This is best done if the vehicles are close together otherwise its a VERY slow task...the soldier moves at snail speed carrying the barrel.

It's just like Infantry(rearming). Sometimes one or both vehicles aren't in a clear enough location to make it work. I have had it bug where no matter what I did it wouldn't work. To refuel you need a "can" or "barrel" in a soldiers inventory.

Sorry KnightFandragon didn't see your post I was busy getting pic.

Smile Thank you

Thank you, both, for answering me expeditiously and completely...

Yes, the Calliope ran out of rockets. I brought a Supply Truck over to re-arm it, but, for some odd reason, the Examine feature did not come up. Who knows, maybe it was Operator error, or a type of glitch I sometimes see in this game when playing Internet Coop.

And, gotchya on the fueling. Seems a bit over the top in micromanaging, but, it adds to the realism, for sure.

Thanks again,

Marc (aka JohnYoga)
