Sorry Mastiff, the Bf109 was better in 1940 although the Spitfire was a dynamically different but good line up for it. - supirior in different ways.

I cant spell for sh&* but its Über not ubber, at least only put 1 b in

As the red baron and others are trying to say:

"A flying man may be able to loop and do all the stunts imaginable and yet he may not succeed in shooting down a single enemy."

Have a nice day.

The owner of that aircraft is my old boss.

It's an ASh-82 engine.

Do folks out there really think the spitfires and 109's are equal in CloD? Have you actually flown both planes?

The 109 is certainly more deadly than the spitfire in any hands. Remove pilot skill from your equation.

There is definitely a reason I fly 109's instead of spitfires in CLOD even though I like spitfires more, and its because I will net more kills in a 109, pure and simple. And this is coming from someone who generally likes to turn fight in other sims.

Uhm, you know that this thread is about the flight of a FW190A8 after about 68 years?

And that's in a nutshell why I have zero interest in air quake online anymore.

No disrespect meant.

I was going to say that as well, but this has gone the way of most threads on the Banana, downhill fast.

As for the 190, beautiful (from an RAF Flyer)
