Most modern PC-Housings doesn't have a reset-button.
Why? Because you have to let your OS to shut down.
If you want to reset, just press your power-button more than 5 seconds. Normally then he should be switched off.

I see, so the two pins on the MoBo are just in case the case has a reset button and is entirely optional.

Thanks

That might be provision for an "anti-intrusion" micro switch, which warns whether your computer casing has been opened; eg http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Int...specifications

Hmmm....I have an HAF922 and that has a reset button, not aware that all those cases on newegg do not have a reset button.

And Farber, Jesus crime in Italy, did you get yourself a proper case or are you still fiddeling around with that HP thing?

BS, no OC'er will ever buy it.
While OC'ing two things will happen
a: BSOD where a reset button wont help
b: system hang where a reset button actually does help

Branded retail PCs on the other hand usually never have reset buttons.

Rem: Kodoss, how do you like the cmos reset on our board? lol
