New Spell Ideas

Make Mass There should be a spell that is cast on other spells that make them have mass effect. A mage with higher magic could use it within the same round, but others would have to wait till next round to cast the boosted mass spell. It would have a base fixed mana cost + a % of the spell it's cast on. It would not work on certain spells perhaps, and would not work on spells that already have a mass option at lvl.3 Summon Devil Fish Summons up a swarm of hostile to allies devil fish at chosen location. The higher the level of the spell, the weaker the attack rating and damage they do, but more of them. Why? The idea is to cast them around your own troops so they attack you to give you critical bonus. The quantity produced are just enough to give a bonus of value compared to damage done. Summon Invisible Stalker Unit has no attack capability, but has high action points. Enemy and ally units can occupy the same space as the Stalker so it can't be used as a over powered wall. The purpose being it can safely run around the map collecting stuff. Higher level spell allows the stalker to remain longer, has more action points and cost less mana. Preserve Magic Extends for 1 more round all the positive spells already in place on a unit. At level 2 reduces for a round any negative spells. At level 3 Extends and Reduces for 2 rounds. Dunno if it's possible to create or change a spell with a mod but it could be a good thing for some spells which are not usefull or usable now.
I think to : + Helplessness (mass the third level but decrease effect to -45% def) + Plague (mass the third level but reduce effect to -20% HP - like necromancer charge) + Summon thorns (that the dryads have) as a Distortion spell ('cause that's the only magic that has no "eternal" summoning spell) |

It might be a nice variety to have if not all just certain spells upgradable to level 4, such as the ones you mention, at level 4 they become mass effect, but perhaps with a decrease to power. Certainly level 4 should cost a fair bit to access and is made available only after completion of a special series of quests.

Light of Heaven:
All undead and demon creatures take 1500-2000 damage. Touch of Death: All living creatures take 900-2100 damage. (No effect to undead creatures) Demonic Ritual: This spell kill the chosen creature and open a portal. A demon creature quit from portal according to level of dying creature.
