How about help people solve their problems instead, turn these senarios around before they make a bigger loss for the community in the long run.

I would ask that this not be moved or slated or maybe even replied to, as i'm saying this not only on moral grounds but for the benefit of the forums and the game itself.

Just think about it guys, bite your tongues.
Some of us used to do this, but became jaded with horrible plan for the game, and censorship of any dissenters here...

im pretty new here, and i have been insulted at least a couple of times. ya, something is wrong if people behave this way with others. to be fair though, real fighter pilots were/are probably not the nicest people either...i can just imagine a room full of actual 109 pilots, and the massive egos they must have had!

Not really macphail. My two mates are fighter pilots. I went through Officer Training School with them. They are the funniest buggers you'd meet. I don't fly, and 'playing' CoD doesn't make me anything close to what my mates do. But you are right, although they are funny buggers, they have egos.

on another note, yes there's quite a crowd that lingers about just so they can flush their negativity and bile towards ppl pointing out some problems, even if on a repetitive note, but entitled to it, afaik no one's counting words in RL (unless you live on a dictatorship). i think the freedom on this or any forum should always aspire to reflect the freedom of every common individual in RL, as every means of communication should.

think about it: fanboys are nothing beyond intolerant fanatics who resort to an insulting tone often too much, generally pointed at the poster.

this happens because they (somehow) act as if they could approve or disapprove views, that's their key principle; as a consequence, they don't like to see a disagreeing opinion displayed, or the fact that others can display such opinions.

narrowed by this view, usually an inappropriate emotional response follows, mostly a personal attack to the poster's attitude, attempting to denigrate him somehow and inviting similar reactions from similar ppl, rather then to politely debunk the usually logical and fundamented post (lack of politeness always gives away the troll, i'm yet to find a polite one); as generic as it sounds, the more the forum is read, the more it becomes apparent; the fact that it's always the same gang, makes it even more obvious.

under the cover up of promoting positive environment by dismissing the critics (as if it would make any sense), fanboys or anti-whiners create a pervasive pattern of answer/counter answer that they can take on for long long time (usually they have to be stopped).

in fact, to have the word 'whiner' poking so easily every now and then is just another form of trolling and filling this place with negative flux, adding to the general hypocrisy of these double faced guardians of rightness.

but then again they're human; some ppl need to get the frustration out of their minds by virtually bullying others, to make noise so they can get attention, who knows if they can't do it any other way; perhaps they need this, or their heads will pop.. who knows?

DroopSnoot, trust me on this one: in here understanding is condescending, and not everyone here is alike; this place is filled with old impertinent guys, some egos, professional trolls who don't even have CLoD (never posted a line about the actual game ever), but there's some really helpful ppl as well (the best you'll get from this place) and occasionally, some meaningful official info.

may i suggest, take it easy with the morons, speak your mind whenever you feel it's right, and remember take a brake from here 'n' chill out.

+ 1 to Jetta Raso

you never know who you're dealing with in forums, and some are aggressive just because they think they can and it bears no consequence whatsoever, what's even worse is that some of them do it out of boredom, probably cos they can't run the game properly themselves and just like the rest of us are in fact desperately waiting for an update from a software house that was forced to release an unfinished product a year ago and still struggles to deliver a complete product, probably because they had to redo most stuff from scratch.
One thing is being understanding of this, but being also fooled around for a whole year doesn't do them any better in terms of PRs, which to date is STILL the weakest link of Maddox Games.

+1 My thoughts exactly. I've decided to stop responding to said type of people since it only gives them more wind in their sails. It's funny, if you look at some of these "Heroes of CloD" post history - some of them have more posts than me - they have very few own threads that they have started e.g helpful threads or threads about the game. Most of their posts are only in other peoples threads and they are almost exclusively inflammatory. One of these "people" for example has over a thousand posts but only 9 threads started, pretty much says it all IMO. I won't block anyone though, why should I? this is a forum and what are forums for? sharing opinions and ideas if you ask me, preferably without getting flamed to damnation. To anyone who feel they are constantly bombarded by the "hate brigade" try to refrain responding to them, it's the best way to get rid of them. I say leave the old fart bigots where they belong, in a non-response vacuum. I'm never leaving this forum, I love the IL-2 series, loved it for over a decade since I was 17. I'm not gonna let some old bitter fart spoil my fun, poop to them.
