The CTD issue will be the least of our problems...... when they rise up we will be praying for those pesky low frame rates! Who knows.... London may still be the safest place to hide from them even after the patch?

It can't be a case of me getting worse as I was never any good in the first place!

Yes, I'm quite sure that AI is difference. I think it has to do with a fresh install I did 2 weeks ago.

AI doesn't overheat - not even when all the coolant is out of its radiator.

AI can push over into negative Gs with any airplane.

It seems to me that the AI in CoD is a carbon copy of what we had in Sturmovik 4.09 or earlier. That kind of points to the possibility of the same kind of transplant from 4.11 - that would be very nice.

I doubt MG would be willing to integrate TD's work in their series, even if it was legally and technically doable.

Why? Legally I don't think there's a question. Technically - I don't think it's feasible to just take the code and copy/paste it, I was rather thinking about the specs for the AI behavior.

Hmmm... that is certainly a possibility as I had freshly installed also after reinstalling my OS. Just wish I could get my FPS back to how it was. lol

Best way to improve the quality of your enemy's AI is to simply join the ATAG server.. Plenty of pilots in there that will hand you your hat.

Hope to see u there..

the AI planes are pretty bad, even if only flying as friendly escorts

few days ago did some sight seeing in southern england with 2 friendly escorts, they stayed close while level flying, but when i landed after 10 or 15 min flight one of them followed me down and promptly crashed into some houses near the airfield, the 2e AI went around and 2 min later made an attempt at landing (? or was simply circling the airfield and flying to low trying to stay near his leader) and promptly crashed into the ground.

today i did some stunt flying through some open hangers at a friendly airfield, started out with 9 escorts of AI, and after flying twice successfully through the open hangers i was left with only 2 AI escorts, the other 7 had all crashed trying to keep up with their leader

in il2 you could make this type of flight with no problems, and it was rare the friendly AI crashed, not so in CoD
