Hey guys:

They don't have to update weekly.

You are not entitled to anything.

You don't have the rights to ask.

You are not working there, you are not a lead on the team, therefor you don't have a say on anything.

They know better then you do even if they messed up their latest release.

They did update to bond the community and as a favor for you.

They don't have to put up with childish behavior on forums.

They were one of the last developers to update weekly and it may change.

Suggestions are not directions.

YOU have the right to buy or not to buy. That's about all the power you have.

Sorry but it's like that, life's a bitch. My 2 cents on the subject.

Since YOU have bought their product YOU have the RIGHT to complain. And THEY have the DUTY to answer.

It only because we've spent 50€ for it... but think about a car sold in the same condition... do you see the line of lawyers out of the office?

Wrong.

You made a bad purchase. That's all.

When you go see a bad movie are you entitled to write the script for the sequel? Are you entitled to have updates from the director? No.

If you buy a car that is a lemon, it's your problem, fix it or sell it or sue whoever you want but don't ask the designer to keep you updated on their work and to incorporate every idea in the next one you're going to buy.

It's the same thing. You just have to buy or not to buy.

I hope you don't run a business with that attitude.

Ah! I have to said this to my customers... "Ehi you, buy my software! It works!"

And when they call me at the office I answer that they need to fix it alone... even if the issue is my application itself. In your opinion should I send them the source code?

Of course if they give me feedback to improve the application then I can rightly send them to **** off. After all improving a product to meet the user's needs is totally useless... in your world.

Movies and videogames are like apples and oranges.

Manu if your software doesn't work, the fault is the hardware configuration of your customers, it's obvious You just have to hire AoA for your help desk ...

You are not entitled to anything. No but we have the money, as you say

You don't have the rights to ask. As human beeing, the right to ask is owned, they have the right to not answer

You are not working there, you are not a lead on the team, therefor you don't have a say on anything. We have not the possibility to say how is really the truth, but we can say our opinion, as your 2 cents

They know better then you do even if they messed up their latest release. perfectly true

They did update to bond the community and as a favor for you. In my opinion is perfectly true the first part, they were trying to strenghten a bond with the customers, totally uncorrect the second, cause I don't know luthier or anyone else in the team, but I feel to not be so uncorrect when I think that they would like to have my money again in the next expansion, so there is a practical reason, the same that lie in that forum

They don't have to put up with childish behavior on forums. Perfectly true, so why to follow them on the same field

They were one of the last developers to update weekly and it may change. Can change also the interest of the customers on that simulator (hope not)

Sorry but it's like that, life's a bitch. My 2 cents on the subject. Thanks, that are mine

It's quite simple actually, fix all the major issues with CloD and I might consider buying the next expansion, if not then try to sell it to someone less educated/enlightened. Really nothing more to say about it, you treat your customers well and listen and respond to them and they will reward you with loyalty. If you start blaming the customers you should either A. Start reconsider your profession/line of work B. Take some kind of 101 PR course C. Give the customers what they are asking for.

Is this really new to MG?! Maybe it's a cultural barrier, maybe in Russia the customer is always wrong, I don't know. The customer is always right even when they are wrong, one has to be able to handle it like a professional, starting to "punish" people by withholding updates and such is childish and extremely unprofessional.

Maybe it's better though, that they are quiet because the updates are quite confusing and they use the word "soon" too much. I don't mind waiting for the patch but for heavens sake don't tell me it will be released "any day" when weeks or even months have passed, this is where I guess a lot of people get their frustration from. Other then that, good job B6! Don't let some people get under your skin. Just ignore them or they will just feed of your frustration.
