Default FPS command?

Could someone give me the command to type in the console to show the FPS, tried fps, show fps, fps run etc. none worked ... I was using the free Fraps but that does not show the average.

Default

Type it exactly as it's shown (it's case sensitive):

fps START SHOW to start the counter and display it

fps STOP HIDE to stop the counter and hide it

I assume you can also probably just type fps START to start the counter in the background without displaying anything, then type fps SHOW after you land.

This would be useful if the text annoys you, as it would run the counter throughout the mission without having the text on the top of the screen and you could get the average after you land.

I haven't tested this but i have a feeling it will work this way since there are two paramaters to the fps command, one to start/stop the counter and one to show/hide the data.
