I am not sure if you are referring to the countless hacks and exploits on international online servers or that the Blue Team is seriously disadvantaged against the Red Team?
To answer your second question first. I fly 109’s and 190’s in Combat on the ADW server and I assure you, Red planes have no advantage at all. But if you are flying an air quake server then turn based fighters will have an advantage.
Pilot skill determines who wins any engagement, I have seen a 109 jock out turn and out flying I-16’s at low level downing two planes in the dogfight and living to tell about it. If you know ADW you will know pilot skill is paramount to success and that the community does not tolerate hacks.
Your first question - No hacks or cheats are needed but people still want to prove they are the best, they have various names depending on the game but I like the “Stats Whore” best. It’s a dog eat dog world in the virtual sky and some pilots resort to hacking for that extra boost in speed or turn ability and others are using the sound mods to gain an advantage.
But honestly when I go on an air quake server I expect nothing less and take no offence. However on ADW I know if I go down in flames it is because I was bested by a pilot better than me.
Oleg has stressed that after 409 patch he is done with Il2 and all his attention will be on Storm of War.
So in a nutshell, choose servers without cheaters, one that is community based and has a loyal following and your experience will be hack free. Or fly air quake and enjoy.
As for anyone saying that a 190 Dora or T152 has any equal in the sky on the Red team has not flown with any experienced pilots.
Don’t blame the tools look at the workman, and in Il2 most complaints come from pilots who just don’t quiet meet muster…

Well, sorry if I overreacted, but you can read threads like yours for any side represented in the game, with equally little proof or even hint other than personal opinions and most of them demand the very same things you did: To make the game what you think is right, because you pay for it.

But that is not how it works, it is not how you want it, to be honest.

Just check out that link here - you won't have to search for long. Usually those threads come every 2 or three weeks. If not there, check out the Oleg's Ready-Room link above. There are literally hundreds of similar threads, for different perspective and personal opinions and they all flame people who say anything against their statement.

Yah, all kinds of clowns both Red and Blue claiming Oleg's planes are SOOOOO f3cked - yet never ever presenting ANY coherent evidence whatsoever backing their claims of course - actually was the main reason why I canned this game and moved on to SH3. It's not the language or the grammar I have a problem with. Like blackdog says the point usually comes accross, but I don't see the point here, what are you trying to tell us? And no, I'm not here touting my "wares" or anything so please don't be offended. But what I'll say still is that SH3 is actually a great game for someone burned out on IL-2 for whatever reason, because combined w/ the GWX addon it's actually one HELL of a simulator.

And this coming from someone who used to fly Peshkas and Sturmoviks only... Uncle Joe is _not_ amused I'm sure
