Hi guys,
Could you give me some advice on what is good? I know the dell ultra sharp are very good monitors but they are way too expensive, so what do you guys have/recommend. Btw I have a 24" acer ATM but fancy going a bit larger.

Can you share the exact model?
Do you fly with vsync on? Are you experiencing any ghosting or blur? Regards. |

This is the model I use: Samsung - UE32D5000 - 32" LED-backlit LCD TV - 1080p . Obviously some people think a dedicated monitor is better ( I had a 22" samsung monitor before) but I personally don't have any problems with it and don't see ghosting or blurring. I have v synch on.

ive been wondering what is it within a TV that can make it good monitor ? what does one look for basicly ? or is there some trial and error.
my dev friend uses 2 x 32 inch samsung tv,s for his kartsim development and wonderfull looking graphics. when i plug my pc into my 37 inch its just stupidly crap looking. Last edited by Ali Fish; 12-15-2011 at 12:51 PM. |

Matrox TripleHead2Go Long story short, it combines 3 monitors into 1, such that you only need one video card. The periferal vission of this kind of setup is hard to beat.. For examlple, when I look left (270) I can still see the tip of the nose of my AC in the RHS screen and the tip of the tail of my AC in the LHS So, if your looking for a cheap way to do widescreen.. think TH2G.. You can pick up 3 normal size monitors cheaper than one big wide one.. Only real downside is the boarders of the monitors.. but.. to be honest, you dont even notice them after playing awhile

ACE I just think those vertical bars would drive me mad! I know a few people use them, but in pics I don't see how you could ignore them.

But I dont even notice them anymore.. I think what is going on is my brain has learned to treat the 'monitor frame' the same way it treats the in-game plane 'cockpit frames' As in if what I want to see (bogie) is being blocked by that 'frame' I simply move my view (head in my case with TIR) until I can see it Now it seems very natural.. Only if I 'think' about them and look right at them do I notice them
