Default Important to remember

This video won third prize in the first big video contest for IL-2. This is the first !L-2, IL-2 2001. What I want to point out here especially to the doubters is how jerky this video is. Sure fraps is recording but even now this game COD runs smoother than this one below does. You needed a pretty good system to run 2001 IL-2 over Berlin. Over the city is my point here The movie is called Fear and I thought it should have got at least 2nd prize. I have to go on a little here. For those who weren't around you can't believe the fun we had when this sim first came out, even with the August demo I think the people who could were flying 12 hrs. a day. There was nothing like it. I switch from Warbirds 3 and Janes WWII fighters right away. When I hear the term "Fanboy" I don't think the people who say it have any clue what a real fan is and actually knows what this game is.

Absolutely mate!

For the time, that's a great vid. I had to play IL2 on a laptop that could only just run the game on lowish video settings, let alone capture video!

But it occured to me that maybe we could use your thread to post some of our earliest film making efforts.

Here's mine. Hope you don't mind. It's absolutely rubbish, with far too many 'flyby' views and the aging is overdone, but I must have flown this mission a hundred times in IL2, just learning how to get to altitude quick enough to catch the FW.

The Russian dance band is ok though!
