Exaggeration aside, it's very likely more a matter of something being wrong with his old driver install than an actual driver improvement.

Sorry Guys, I didn't want to start a war here....lol....that wasn't my intention....I am not a computer techno-guru like some of you here and my only intention was to try to help others who have been struggling to get COD. to run effectively on a 32 bit system like mine.......yes, now that I have tested it in some populated areas and with numerous planes in the air(as many as 42).....I'm not getting the max'ed 60 fps. now, but it is staying anywhere from 36 to 52 fps. and it is a whole lot better than the 8-15 fps. I was getting before the most recent COD. update and with the 280.26 32 bit drivers that I was using before......after struggling for over six months to get any playiblity from the game that I felt I had wasted my money on, I did get a little overzealliuos and excited.....lol...........so if my posting here has helped anyone, that was my only intention....carry on...........

Perfectly understandable flightdok. No big deal in my book. There's a read me for the new drivers if anyone cares to look to see what actually has changed.

W/ 32 bit and clod, i wonder if anyone experimented with ram settings in bios. Things like single channel mode verses dual channel, channel interlacing on/off, running ganged verses unganged...etc. Just another shot in the dark. Maybe it would help with some systems and the stuttering.

No war, at least from me. And I wasn't saying you are a BS'er, just that the original numbers (even 75fps) are BS. We're all aware that it's likely some driver issue you had in combination with some non-technical impressions that the driver upgrade took care of, not that you were intentionally misleading anyone.

Sounds like you got that and just some other people were getting all butthurt for you, lol.

Anyway, congrats on getting the framerate up to a playable level!
