Removing guns?

Blackdog has said in a previous post that you can remove guns from planes, such as the front gun from the Ju88. I was trying to do this last night but can not see how it is done!

removing gun works fine here- go to options>plane>ju88>loadout

in weaponsets tab change top slot (nose gun) by clicking on rh box- select empty. click save as and save as something memorable (or do all this in fmb?)

go fly -remembering to select your new loadout

So empty means no gun? Thanks mate, I thought that just meant an empty gun like in the old il2!

OK it worked by opening a mission in the FMB and doing it there, then saving it. Now I can use that 'load out' in the QMB.
