LAN/Multiplayer Game Speed

Hi All, I know this has been asked before but i am realy desperate to find a solution to this. Is there a way to reduce the speed of Multiplayer games? I have purchused the game twice on steam and have them installed on two computers in the same house so it will be easy to modify any Config files or similar if that is possable. I just dont know where to look or even where to start looking.

I'm sure one of you smart Cookies must have an idea out there.

No you can't as this is multiplayer, only in single player by using the backspace key.
