Default Prometheus

Anyone else looking forward to this...

Of all the Alien films the only one I ever liked was the first one , really scared the crap outa me , a real menacing and suspenseful nightmare of a film whereas the others were just .....stupid..... so now Ridley's back at the helm im really looking forward to this one , there's a very short trailer for this , ill try and find it later.

Its bizarre a sneak peak was shown at The comic con but in all the recordings ive come across the bit where footage is shown has been cut out even on what appears to be mobile phone recordings but there are some still floating about which look cool , I believe that trailer Ali is a fake but im not 100% though it bears no resemblance to the stills ive seen.

Oh yes!

I really hope this is kosher.

Saw the original Alien at a midnight showing on release in '79.

The whole audience walked out in shock - all white faced and trembling!

Holy faeces, what an antidote to the Star Wars mania of the time.

Kind of...the film has Scott on board, so that's a plus, but I just wonder if the whole Alien series of films haven't just run it's course. What else is there really left to say?
I'm a huge fan of the first two movies, both classics in my view, but from there the series has been on a downward spiral.

I haven't read much about Prometheus so far, but as I understand it, the film deals with the dead alien they found in that spaceship on LV-426? Is that correct?

I thinks so but from what I can make out there going to try and tell the story of the universe creation and how the space jockeys used the ailens to help them terraform worlds by clearing them of all indigenous life or somthing like that who knows , there is a lot of guessing going on out there at the moment cos Scott aint giving much away ... at the moment.

rumours. this is 1 of 2 new alien movies. ridders wants 250 mil and R rating, but thats not happening pg 13 is likely with a 250 mil budget.

Possibly Ridders is saving his grand origins plan for laters ?
