Could the forum Mods look into dividing the COD forum much like they have at SimHq.

The first forum content

- Actual gameplay in Cliffs of Dover
- Making 3rd party content for Cliffs of Dover
- How to configure settings for Cliffs of Dover
- Specific bugs in Cliffs of Dover
- Subjective gameplay experiences in Cliffs of Dover ("my experience is...")
- WWII aviation history
- WWII aircraft

The Sub-forum

- Development speculation on Cliffs of Dover release dates
- Motives of the Cliffs of Dover developers
- Whether Cliffs of Dover bugs will be fixed
- Whether Cliffs of Dover should have been released
- Whether Cliffs of Dover is fundamentally flawed
- Business speculations on the viability of Cliffs of Dover
- Cliffs of Dover comparison with other products
- How Cliffs of Dover has been promoted

Its not much but any little bit may help the new IL-2 series survive this early setback.

Yes, A good idea. As I suggested over at the new Pilots Lounge forum (gratuitous plug: http://pilots-lounge.net/index.php/forum/1-main-forum), the appropriate name for this would be the Whine Cellar.

I know is irony, but it would be just so perfect....

I'm all for it, so that everyone can have their say without having to wade through posts that don't interest them.

Wanna complain? I go to the speculation forum.
Wanna talk about playing the game? I go to the other one.

Whatever i do, i'm sure that my mood will not be spoiled because if someone starts dragging speculation into the gameplay forum or vice versa, a mod will prune their posts and move them to the other forum or just delete them if there are not enough of them to constitute a new thread.

It would need some pretty alert moderation to work, but i'm all for it.

Let's do it, it will help.

Trolls will stop if they do not have audience.

+1

If you dont agree with the thread title...keep the fek out! that would be a start even in the forum we have presently...it aint that hard....is it?

You start a thread with ''Where is this weeks update? blah blah'' let everyone thats interested rant and rave all they like all with the common interest of said topic...all the people that dont agree...keep out! use yer loaf a bit, have a bit of common sence etc etc... im sure people get off on being argumentative and will go to the ends of the earth to disagree

How about a "section" solely for the "devs"?
Where only they could post? All others could view.

It seems (to me), the easiest and first problem to sort?
Is communication. No one has the "right" to argue with
the "devs" or the "moderators". That should be the rule and
strictly enforced.

Thoughts?
