It seems that some modern games tend to struggle with AA, unbelievable as that sounds. There was a discussion about it on these boards a little while ago about that.

I'm playing DiRT 3 at the moment and there too the AA doesn't seem to work properly. I still see (albeit very minor) jaggies no matter what AA settings I use.
But yeah, the AA is a big issue with me too. The jaggies really mar what is otherwise (for me) a pretty picture.
What can we do other than hold thumbs and hope? The blue lines issue was fixed, so maybe the AA will be in time too.

This talk of AA confuses me a bit, because as far as I can see, it does work to a degree.

If you compare the trailing edges of the wings with it off and on @ 8x, there's a definite difference to the crispness.

Maybe it's not as much as people would like, but it is definately there.

I just can't run the game with it on.
