Default Manston under attack! - new youtube vid by me (best seen in 1080p and full-screen)

Ok, here's a new video. A bit shorter than usual, but I'm sure you don't mind that...

I get to practice a quick take-off, but not voluntarily. Damn' Jerries are attacking Manston again, which leads to some rather spectacular pyrotechnics, especially when you watch them from close up on the runway. Not very proud of my flying, but at least I bring down a Messerschmitt at the end!

Anyway, enjoy. Comments always very welcome!

Superb mate.

If that doesn't sell the game to the sceptics I don't know what will.

Well, there was that glitch with the sign on the runway which ruined the whole video, didn't you see that?...

Yeah, I saw it. A minor issue!

Looking around at the explosions on the runway more than made up for it!

Brilliant video, those explosions were awesome! (they'd be even more awesome if the smoke lingered for longer...)

Frey, did you have the land-shading turned down? The terrain didn't seem as crisp as in your previous videos. Still very good though!

Well that last bit was certainly interesting, a 2500 kg Spit hitting the deck with about 200 kmh and ending in such good shape, you would have thought the spit cracks in half and disappear in a ball of fire.

Excellent video though, I enjoyed it.

Very nicely done. The landscape looks very natural and balanced. Good action, I caught you going thru the runway marker sign but that is no biggie for me. Never had the mirror in and out myself. Cannot wait for the game to get patched up to a point where it makes sense for me to get a new system.

LOL in the 1946 there's no way you could have survived the crash. did u see how high you came in and you had lots of vertical speed. i don't understand why you didn't explode. must be the ill-optimized game engine.
