Default Launcher.exe crashing in Multiplayer

I am really fed up of getting messages of "Launcher.exe has created a problem and will close" while flying on line servers. In server running the full Canal map I hardly can spawn at the airstrip, only to get this damm message.

In "islands" maps, I can fly for some minutes until this message appears, hanging my PC.

Can some one help me? Offline usually the sim runs OK, no special graphic problems.

My opinion after almost 2 months struggling with this Sim is that it is not a reliable and stable software to run in normal platforms. It didn't deserve yet a commercial status. The minimun settings announced are, simply, a joke.

My PC:

Intel CoreDuo E6550 Conroe 2.33 GHz
Motherboard Gigabyte P35-DS3L
4 GB RAM DDR2 1066 MHZ
EVGA Nvidia GTX580 1.5 GB VRAM DDR-5
Drivers 270.61, DirectX 11
Soundcard Audigy 2 ZS
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bits SP1
Monitor HP 2510i 25"
Track IR 4
Joystick Saitek X52
Pedals CH

Running 1920x1080, AA2, VSync ON, Full Screen Mode
Patch 1.4588
Disabled "desktop composition" for Launcher.exe properties

Dont know whats hapenning, but this it what I'd do if only happens when you are online:

* Check the NIC
* If you have two NICs disable one of them
* Disable sound card. Have you onboard sound card? As the multiplayer is giving a lot of errors with sound, maybe you find here the cause
* make a backup and delete the entire 1csoft folder in your documents, and let the game build a fresh one

Have you crash log?
logging for your game
(conf.ini - log=1 - logkeep=1)

Sorry, i know is not much help but is what i'd try first.

Btw, luthier said that desktop composition must be enabled again after the last hotfix, but i dont think that this is related to the crashes you are having

Suerte¡

This is my log.txt after a crash of Launcher.exe in a MP Canal map. I do not undertand a word but the sentence "System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array." appears twice.

OK gracias, but I only have one NIC at my Motherboard.

I tried what you adviced about erasing the folder "Cloffs of Dover" and activating AERO: Still my PC freezes seconds or minutes after respawning in a Multiplayer Canal map, for example SYN Server.

At least, when joining a smaller map as "Islands", I can play for long without freezing.

I am sure this error you have is software related, not hardware.

Could be the script of syndicate is doing something worng, but then a lot of users would have complained.

Next thing I can think of are the c librarys in your system, the net framework.... maybe a reinstall of the game if you dont want to mess with those?

Reinstalled files in folder Redist, C, .NET and DirectX, and same. I also tried to reduce Graphics quality to Medium, but the same.

It seems like the size of the map or the objects loaded is too big for my memory, or the memory management CloD makes is very poor. In this case, I do not understand why 4 GB are not enough to run this damm Sim.

Have you tried to run an offline mission in the channel map?

here you are a link for downloading:

http://airwarfare.com/sow/index.php?...tegory&catid=7

Try with the large one first, and if its ok the huge.

If you can run them, I dont think you have a memory issue.

last resource: reinstall the game. I've seen other people having success with this option

Wish you luck Cazador, I know is a pain the process, but its also hard to me to believe is a memory problem.
