Default NVIDIA GPHX Card Thread - Quick Fixes which may improve your FPS!

Gents. Lets start compiling our knowledge into a single thread.

Lets take note, and record here changes made to the game, or NVIDIA control panel which has improved game play, or simple fixes which has also helped increase FPS.

Try to only post changes you have made which has made a difference!

Example:

I noticed a considerable increase in performance when I changed the setting "Power Management Mode" to "Prefer Maximum Performance".

Dont forget to post your card specs so others can compaire!

Running a MSI N460GTX 1GB OC'ed.

If some one can fix my stutters in a GTX 260 I'll give em a gold star

PS tried the usual fixes other than the invasive ones that require coding changes, only running 1280x800 res too. I have PLENTY of fps, ave 60 but it's as chunky as a road full of potholes.

If you have a 260 and have it running smooth, can you list your settings etc.

Thanks.

Update your driver to the latest 270.51, I've a e8400, 4GB ram, GTX 260 @1920x1200 without stuttering

These settings in the nvidia control panel work well. Has reduced stuttering for me.

Also "disable windows theme" by going to the launcher.exe, right click select properties and setting it under the compatability tab
