did you do that triggaaar???i tried it, but the version seems to be the old one again.
after i set cod in steam not to update itself,i exchanged the maddox.dll files.entered the game, and i have the old version.then i went back to steam again, and my settings, not to update the game, was changed automatically to keep the game up to date.

No, sorry I never got the Russian version simply because I only had to wait a couple of days. When you said it just changed it, I thought that perhaps Steam was continually over-writing your edited version, which is what Steam should do, unless you switch off automatic updates. Sorry, it was just a guess.

Hi David, it will be an ongoing issue for us impatient ones , nevermind, I asked Steam to remove my Russian cd key so that I could use my UK one, all they have told me to do thus far is change the programme language to english within steam, which is rubbish btw cos it was already.

I have installed it three times now and everytime it downloads the russian version, the old maddox.dll trick wont work unless somebody uploads the new version somewhere as youve already stated.
