^ Pretty much this.
But as I wrote in a different thread back yesterday: If you have bought IL-2 1946 on Steam, it's already upgraded automatically to V4.09m, including the 4.09 skin pack (it's not optional on Steam, you get it in any case). So if you make use of the Steam version, you only have to download the two patches V4.10m and V4.101m and install them manually.
