I haven't tried night flying yet so i can't comment on the bugs, but from my recollection most of the real aircraft of the time didn't have individually lit instruments.
Usually it was just a combination of floodlights and fluorescent paint on the dials. You can clearly see the floodlights in the cockpits, not only in CoD but in IL2:1946 too. |

Beeeaauuutiful shot, but yes, what the heck happened to the blackout curtains?! When it's fixed, this game will be without equal.

Are you shure those are lights, and not the light of the setting sun reflecting in windows? Impressive either way

I can asure you, that those are simulated lights.
Initially I did the cross country flight at 2000hrs, and that's when I noticed it and thought I should see what London is like. Also, as it gets later, lights start going out on the buildings. If you fly high though, they are not rendered. |

I see a lot of people being fined for not obeying wartime blackout on that screenshot

It is nice, but this would make it quite easy for bombers to find any towns in the night, so it was ordered by authorities to cover every single window at evenings and nights... So big towns and cities were quite dark in that war times...
