if you are runnning 64 bit windows 7 this may help.

I tried to install it from the dvd lots and failed. I think then copy protection does not work on 64 bit windows 7. in the end i paid £5 to get it from steam and that version works fine on my pc.

Just installed it yesterday on my 64 bit system. Had to open the cd folder and start it manually because autorun didn´t work.

I have Win 7 Pro and got same problem first. Anyway, long time IL-2 player knows what helps.

Open my computer, select DVD-drive and open disc. Select a.exe and run it.

Try doing a firmware upgrade on your dvd drive. Could just be a wonky driver thing.

Have you tried this way --> open my computer - select DVD-station - open - run setup

Some time my dvd-station just rolling but nothing happened. I use this way when installed game and it works me.

Hope this helps for your rig.

Nice one Raven. Explored to a.exe, right click, run as administrator, now up and running on 7 67-bit. Yee-hah! jj
