Hey!
Someone agree with me ? The game got a huge numbers of issues and problems... Have been waiting for this game for 4 years. When the game finally comes out, it's not even playable. A friend of me have a good computer and play Crysis 2 on ultra high settnings. Then he try's out this game, and end up with a unplayable game... They should have delayed the release about 6 months, so they could fix all of these problems... Release a open beta or something. Hope they will fix this game soon, because this can be the best flight sim ever made, if they just fix all these issues. And it looks amazing! Sorry about my bad English. -Patrick |

It's definitely not ready.
It's of BETA quality, still needs a great deal of work. For the majority it's not very playable. Even down to the menus, the loading screens, everything is a bit poor. The rendering engine needs a complete overhaul. And what's with the .NET menus on top of everything?! I hope the developers keep working full time on it for a while, because I'd say it needs many months of full development still. |

I agree! It's more like a beta version. The menu needs some work... You cant even change the volume ingame, and that's ridiculous (my meaning). The whole game need some work. Wondering why they did release it now. Are they in a hurry ? It's like building a skeleton without the flesh = a lot of work need to be done before release (again, my meaning). |

I agree with this estimate. This was rushed out, with many things not fully developed, almost no gaming content. There are many design flaws.
Its a shame, because it is not that bad, there is potential. Not to mention that release went almost unoticed even by its publisher... |

I'm pretty sure they released it as is for a simple reason money. I seem to recall them running out of money in Nov. but they held off because it was even in less of a ready state I am sure.
Comparing it to a FPS with smaller maps and less hard number crunching is and always will be unfair. Just because you can do simple arithmetic with relative ease doesn't mean you can expect to do as well in Calculus. It has problems, but making a new thread for each and every person that feels this way is ridiculous. The developers are and will continue to work on it, and in time we will see improvement. As I understand it there was a decent improvement for many with just the first patch, and I would expect that to be true for each consecutive patch. If you have some technical issues go to the Technical Issues sub-forum, and look through the FAQ and threads already there. Clogging up general discussion to say "WAAAAAH! MY PERFORMANCE!" isn't accomplishing anything for you or the developers. |

There is potential, but the game is incomplete. I just hope they can learn by this. Never release a game this early. If they are out of money, don't release the game.. Find other solutions. Yeye :p Hope they fix this soon. Just wondering how long time it will take before the game can be played with some decent performance. Last edited by Hveding; 03-31-2011 at 08:48 PM. |

I wouldn`t blame Oleg and team for a too early release!!!!! IT`s UBI`s epic fail!
The publisher rushed 1C maddox to release the game! The same happend with Silent Hunter 5.. it had a great potential but the development team abbondened the game! UBi and not Oleg has to be burn for such an important misstake in the gamehistory! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
