How does the multiplayer lobby work?

Hello guys,

I was wondering whether someone can answer my question (possibly the Russian guys) how the lobby actually works.

I am a great fan of lobbies like Battlefield, Hyperlobby and yes, even gamespy. That basically means I like to have a list of games in front of me, from which I can pick the game I fancy.

I was wondering, how does this actually work in CoD, and what can we expect from it?
