This has been used for many steam games (usually to circumvent censorship) and if it doesn't work with this one I'd be shocked.

that's why I've setup a new id for it, I've not added it to my main Steam account, but to a new one.

Well, Luthier said more than a couple of times that UBI international version will have the permanent (as in not optional) epilepsy preventing modifications (be them the epilepsy filter, or the tinkered graphics) no matter what. Is not about them, is about UBI's policy and the contract they've signed.
