Can I copy the original CD?
I am trying to make a copy of my original 1946 CD, but there is not enough room on the blank CD.
I copied all the files from the original cd into a folder on my harddrive, then tried to copy them onto a blank cd. Is there a better way? Thanks for any help. |

First of, I'm pretty sure that the EULA prohibits copying the game, even if it's just a safety copy for yourself in case the original disc gets damaged.
Second, in case if I should be wrong with my first statement, you should know that there's a difference between a CD and DVD... Last edited by Fritz X; 02-27-2011 at 04:08 PM. |

The game doesn't need registry entries in order to run, which means that you can firstly install the game onto your computer and then copy it (the whole installation folder) from the hard drive onto a DVD or USB key.
Whenever you need to "reinstall" the game, simply copy the installed game back to your harddrive from the DVD or USB - it's even possible to run it directly from DVD or USB key! |

After making a clean install, make a backup of that. That's something that should be allowed everywhere.
