Default Contact UBISOFT

I have emailed UBISOFT through their HELP page requesting info on Boxed sets and would suggest everyone outside of Europe who would prefer a Box set to do the same. The only way to get what you want is to speak out and let them know.I think downloading games is a cheap and greedy way of selling a product (for $89.95 AUD) that already has a large and loyal fan base.

Downloading aka digital distribution is the future even if you don't like it, i personally prefer boxed version but i've many games on Steam-only as well. More money goes to the developers directly via db than retail stores.

+1
Neither in South America we can get the boxed set. Here we even can´t preorder the downloable version. In spite of not being so active in this forum, the latin american comunity is huge and we are waiting CoD as anxious as in any other part of the world.

I'm sorry for being cynical but I don't believe $89.95 for a download version in Australia is fair or that the developers are getting anything more. I think they (UBI) will charge what ever they can because they can. The same thing is happening with music and aps here in Australia, our dollar is worth the same as the USD but we are paying double the price. The only way to change things is to speak up. If I don't get a good answer from UBI I will buy from overseas or wait till the game hits the bargain box.

Why can't you order it in the States(or maybe Japan)?

Hi, point is UBISOFT should make COD Boxed Sets available on all sites. UBI needs to know costumers are unhappy. After all the work thats been done by the Maddox team it is unacceptable for a distributor to upset customers.

1 Euro = 1.35 USD and 1.34 AUD

So if it is 67 Euro, it should be about right for a download rate, based on AUS price.

I'm sure there will be a boxed edition in the US. Should there not be a boxed edition, there will be one less sale. Digital download may be the future, but it's not in my future. I don't have the internet speed nor inclination to download a 4GB game.

I think the game is bigger than 4gb , it's around 8-10, still the old farts of yesterday need to grow up and upgrade.
A niche of a niche in 2011, you can't expect your local store to have it, more likely it will show up in online retail shops
in your area, buy it from them.
