Default Play.com cancelled pre-order.

Just got this today from play.com

"Dear MR N J M PATERSON

We are contacting you regarding your current outstanding order for: IL2: Storm Of War - Battle Of Britain

We have been advised that this item has been removed from sale and unfortunately we are unable to fulfil your order. Please be assured that you have not been charged and your outstanding order has now been cancelled.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused in this matter and thank you for your patience and valued custom.

Thats probably because of the name change. "IL2: Storm Of War - Battle Of Britain" is no more, hence the "removed from sales".

Preorder "IL2 Sturmovik: Cliffs Of Dover" and ull be right back on track.

Obviously I'm not going to find the actual one they are using in the game, but aside from the lack of wear/rust/dirt I think it's a pretty accurate depiction of a late 1930's tractor.

I have it on very good authority that most farmers take extremely good care of their tractors (addressing rust, painting regularly). So - it is probably just the dirt which is missing...

My brother who was a heavy duty mechanic would have loved to have gotten his hands on that tractor .. The gray one...I can see him now putting around the field with it

I rode many hours on a JD 730 and later a JD 830
no wonder farmers suffered hearing loss
