Default Achtung TrackIR 5 owners

Have you recently bought TrackIR 5 and had some very peculiar problems with it? Or is your TrackIR 5 serial number something between 152000 - 152914? Then take a look at Naturalpoint.com forums and get your TrackIR replaced ASAP!

Sincerely
TrackIR 5 #152884 owner

(This post is useful if even one unlucky person gets his TrackIR replaced.)

NP has an outstanding track record for product support both directly and through their dealer network in my experience working with them on the beta team. I've rarely seen a company that will go as far out of their way to help customers directly as NP does.

If you purchased directly from NP they will pay for the return shipping, and if you purchased through their dealer network contact your seller and they will make arrangements for you.

Hopefully the number of affected customers is limited and at worse I suspect a delay for the replacement unit of a couple weeks for international customers.

Dano, great, I did not write it in vain then Note though that even if you have the affected serial number TrackIR, it doesn't mean it is faulty.

CharveL, yeah, I agree, Natural Point is outstanding company.

You can see it on the upper left corner in your TrackIR software. There reads "Device : TrackIR 5 #SerialNumber", where SerialNumber is your serial number.

No, the software you launch in your computer. It figures out what serial number the TrackIR in use is.

I remain to be convinced after the TrackIR2 debacle of which I was included in
