Free on steam? Sale or glitch?

Most of my friends on Steam are downloading King's Bounty: The Legend for free, according to them. And Steam is saying they own the game now too.

Is this some kind of hidden promotion or a glitch of some kind?

Well, I asked around a bit and apparently when people visit the Steam store page, it tells them "You already own King's Bounty: The Legend", gives you a button to play the game, then if you click it it begins installing the game, even if you don't own it.

Seems like a glitch that might be worth looking in to.

That should be some kind of glitch, just check it and Steam says I can only buy it. Anyway thanks for this information.
