Squelch/Bagaba/Bogis Quests

Coming back to this game after not playing it for over a year and maybe theres an answer to this problem now.

Doing the quest Bogis' Problem and the second that I put the kings flag over Bagaba's castle the previous quest Enthrallment of Bogis goes from completed to failed. Soon as I started on these remembered this happening last time around and hoped a patch might of fixed it, but no such luck.

Has anybody figured this out or is it always going to happen and can't be avoided?

I did it fine, once u got the quest to put the bagaba's flag on bogis house, return the quest first b4 doing the nxt one.
