I am still totally in love.
I regularly fly with the same bunch of fellow pilots(mainly sim) & we set up different scenarios such as Stukas on a mission to bomb the ships off the coast at Dover, using Hurricanes to defend, great action!
Played a new set up thought up by Bobbysocks the other night (see posting) which worked a treat.
Endless dogfights can become much of a muchness after awhile but if you fly with like minded pilots there is still so much explore.

For me the game stand alone as the #1.
Alongside stands the guys with integrity and skills to go in there and create Moments of beauty.
I will as long as I have one good eye that still can spot an enemy, log on and try to fly as a descent gamer.

I think you can make and create a magnitude of engaging missions with this game for years. It all depends on having an attitude towards having a good time playing with the chaps, in planes you love to see manouver around the skies. It is bunch of great gauys&friends who still want to master the planes and tacticks out there!

Leaderboardhores not counted for...

Spot on McQ. After spending 20 tedious minutes taking fire from the spit roast (IL10, it gives out from both ends) I went into a 1v1 Spitfire arcade DF with Woothike.
10 minutes of aerobatics with no kills. We both knew when we had kill shots lined up but didn't see the need to pull the trigger. I may just stick to arcade in future.

I've played one game for a decade and I am not bored.

You guys are just depressed. Find some stronger alcohol.

Maybe its that "stronger alcohol" thats YOUR problem then your just to pissed to know what your doing.

Its not depression at all, its called being bored. Simple. Hence variety, you play something else for a while until you fancy flying again.

so the turnip brew vodka was the reason you were being a w****r last night and ruining our sim TDs with your il10. i suggest you set up some training missions and learn how to take the tail gunners cock out of your arse and learn to respect the way people want to set up a game.

Yeah... and u may fly just one plane for a decade too, but I would recomend you to learn how to master a cpl. of more strategies and tacticks than the tailgunners on IL's to get a good time with the guys out there.

And yeah... It is kind of depressing to see IL's and bombers in random dogfights and teambattles. I can feel my inner misanthrop awaken... He's an angry f*#k and a mean bastard!

Don't think i'll ever tire of BoP, but cheesemasters in il10's i can only take about one game with those smug gits. I have taken to setting games at 1942 and earlier to cut down on a tailgunners choice of aircraft.

BoP 2 or whatever it is called, needs killable gunpositions on bombers and reargunners!

Ju 87 D3. The IL-10 was in consideration, but seeing as it was over Italy, it just didn't fit.
