Leave it in upper part. More important is a option to scale the letter's size. IMHO in Il-2 the texts of and stats always were way too big.

As long as they can be de-activated there's no problem.

I'd never prefer visible instruments over visible horizon. I'm flying in the sky and not in the gear. Thus I'd think low is better.
However, it'd be best if it was customizable indeed. I don't think there is one setting that serves everyone best.
For example the usage of color. And on top of everything RED. There are a lot of colorblind people out there and most of them are colorblind for red.

So it'd be great if we could set a font size and color on our own. Eventually also the max number of messages and the fade out time. It's done this way in many games already and seems to work best with most people.

I hope in SoW...

1. HUD-Log, chatter, symbols etc. are switchable (on/off) within the game, not only via conf.ini.

2. There is no visible "connection sign" (or switchable maybe) as we have it in IL-2 today

3. The host of an online game can chose if HUD-settings are preset (the ones of the host) or adjustable by the players.

That would be great, oleg.

I would like to be able to choose a color such as yellow...being red/green color blind is a problem at times with IL-2.

I'd love to fly IFR missions so blocked gauges is not my choice.

Should have use options for color, location, even size, font, and number of lines displayed.

The text is very obstructive to me.
