Default Does my dragon every really grow up?

Hello,

I've never gotten very far into the KB games, and almost always try to bypass as much reading as possible to just get to the meat and potatos of the game (lore doesn't do anything for me is why), so this time though I've got an entire 5 days to kill so thought I'd read some of the text.

When I grab my dragon, there is a text dialog that pops up to tell me that he may be small and cute now, but in just a few short centuries he'll be all grown up.

Is that just flavor text, or do the cute little dragons eventually grow up, get larger, and less comic like and more dragony looking?

Just curious.

Thanks,

Pet never changes as best as I can tell. I have finished AP several times.
