EVGA gtx260 gpu
2 gigs 1066 ram
p6n msi mobo
850 watt psu
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS

installed the game and all i get is a black screen with sound. no video at all whatsoever and no crash. had a message pop up for windows live but fixed that and still no go. have been tearing my hair out and am one step from calling the company and demanding a refund. updated directx and nvidia driver (195 if i remember right) ran as administrator, applied the 1.1 patch, so on and so on. nothing works. please help.

I hope you guys still check this thing. I bought the game the other day and had the exact same problem. I tried a few things, and it turned out to be my dual monitor setup. I disabled my second monitor and the problem was fixed just like that. Beyond that I've had no problems running the game so far so it seems like the dual monitor setup was what was doing it. Hopefully that fixes you guys' problem as well. If nothing else, if someone else gets the same problem maybe this will help.
