Sorry Foz, I should have made it clearer, but yeah, a different mark of the same plane would be ok too.

I too thought of the Mossie, and then the Pe-2. But I also have a soft spot for the Westland Whirlwind.......... Add to the mix a couple of 250 or 500kg bombs, and its a mean early war tank buster!

So come on folks, ONE plane. I dont think Winny, the Corsair got much flying time in the European Theatre.

The reason I labelled this as a 'fantasy' thread is because I cannot foresee any more dlc for this (well not on XBL anyways).

My choice is a Westland Whirlwind

The corsair was used in europe, more than alot of people think they were used a fighter cover by the FAA (I think) when they attacked the tirpiz.

They also struggled with carrier landings, much like the US!! but perfected it by coming into land from the left and always keping the carrier in sight... or something along those lines. I know what i mean, i jus tcant put it into words haha. They also clipped the wings didnt they, because their wasnt enough room in the smaller RN carriers? or was that just BS i heard?

A nice plane!
