I have found that graphics card updates show little difference in Il2 where as a CPU update makes a big difference.

Did you disable the built in gfx card?

I dont think I did. If I remember right , I just added the new card in and pulled up the new drivers and started downloading.

Is your video cable plugged into the new card ?(ie did you unplug it from the motherboard)
If not you're still using the onboard graphics. |

yea I bought a new HDMI cable and plugged it into my video card to monitor.
my old monitor cable didnt have an available plugin on the new graphics card so I went and bought the HDMI. |

yea the HDMI cable is plugged into the new video card.
In my other game the graphics are very noticable that it got better. its just Pacific fighters that its not noticable. I just raised the resolution a bit in options. I think I am going to wait to get my new copy of 1946, should be here this week, then I will just uninstall the PAcific fighters all together and install the new 1946 and see how the graphics look on max settings on THat game. |
