1. Enabled. The lights effects you saw on 110th shot is due other direction of the sun rays. And it isn't HDR but other technology.
2. Yes, it isn't final. Smoke is close to final, flame - under construction-tunings we should get it looking always good undepending of movement speed.

Are they still DirectX9 or have you already switched to DX10 or 11?

to put the finishing touches to the first srceen I can' t imagine without a moving pilote , also :

may be animate pilote with trackir or hat , or others features ?
