I think installing the earlier AMD driver version should help, since it's obviously an incompatibility between the game and current driver.

Thanks for the help, i ended up changing to a older graphics card (Nvidia) to fix the problem. I will try going back to older drivers another time, right now I'm just going to enjoy the game

turn down your anisotropic and your antialising in your card option, and you game options, and turn off auto AI in your ati control center, un 3d. most games do not support this. in control center turn anti, anistropic to let programs decide. on ati or nvidia, always choose to let program decide if the option is avalable, being some programs dont support some of the setting you can choose on control panels both ati and nvidia

Thanks so much for all the responses. But the game still does not work. Old video card can no longer be there.
