Just purchased Star Wolves I and II through Steam, major error in the game

i just tried two cracked .exe files from gamecopyworld (one for the english 1.0 and one for the russion 1.1) and my ships started shooting again with both of them!

...so this is NOT releated to the missing Steam File you all are talking about but to the f*cking Starforce protection that still did not get removed!

bad news though, the text is now all mumbo jumbo so the crack isn't a final solution for the steam version either.

well what i do not get is that the do not patch the eu versions but the patch the russian versions :s cause star wolves 2 sucked balles cause of the buggs, wich have fixed in earlyer patches (not 100% shure)
thats what i do not get

i just put in a steam support ticket that i want my money back, including a complete explenation what happened here.
they usually give your money back on pre-orders and since the game is not live yet... (today is releasedate but i guess it will take another 24 hours or so)
well let's see what happens.

ye i don't expect we can play today. and i am thinking of getting a refund as well. proably buying a game where the developers do not even spend time on patching is a mistake

Guys, Star Wolves 3 will be available on Steam in 7 hours. The release time is set according to US time. It is already available for purchase in European online shops.
