Default File-not found when starting the game

I've been playing men of war for awhile now but now when i start it up using steam i get this error


File not found- resource/set/regristry.reg(eiorepository.cpp 274)

> main

product_name v.1.11.3 stantard

unknown


any help will be appreciated

i think y .../men of war/resource/game.pak file is corrupt.

possible solution: install game new again.

I happened to get this error when I was screwing around with the game.pak (trying to overwrite the font- ended up getting it, but the fonts didn't work).

If you bought the game from Steam, just right click on Men of War in the games list and choose properties. Click the 'local files' tab and then choose 'verify integrity of game cache'. It'll detect the file being corrupt and download/install the new one.

NEVER change originalfiles like all *.pat, *.pak files.
when y want change/test something -> use/create a mod.
